Beauty for Ashes – a ministry for women by women

The ministry was started by Seth Barnes as a part of Adventures in Missions – I was introduced to their ministry on my mission trip in May 2019 and I went through their leadership training in November 2019.  While their ministry is used around the world, one of their goals is to get this program out in the local churches and to reach out to women across our country.   The aim is to bring God’s restoration, hope, and healing to women.  Because we live in a fallen world, we’ve all had things in our lives that have hurt us.

Everyone has a story – my story is different than yours but we all have a story.

It’s my desire to see women grow in their relationship with God, learn who they are in Christ so that they can impact their homes and communities for Christ.

Jesus said the truth will set us free. Healing comes as we speak the truth - As we tell our stories.

Psalm 107:2 “Let the redeemed of the Lord tell their story.”

I am now scheduling these kinds of "retreats" in my local area. The format I typically use is a one-day retreat from about 8:30 - 4:00. If this sounds like something you would like to know more about, please contact me. I am also offering this service to churches who would like to host one of these events.
